Questions

Plain answers.

Does MakerTime block sites all the time?

No. Rules apply during active focus sessions. When the session stops, Safari and Chrome go back to normal.

Can I redirect sites instead of blocking them?

Yes. During a session, selected sites can redirect to a more useful destination instead.

Does Chrome need MakerTime running?

Yes. Chrome asks the local MakerTime app what to allow, redirect, or block.

Does MakerTime collect browsing history?

No. Page checks stay local.

Founder story

Built because the drift was real.

I kept opening YouTube and social media automatically. I wanted a quiet menu bar tool that made me pause, return to the task, and remember the goal.
